Good morning lovely people!!!
While perusing GoodReads this morning and updating my 2015 Reading Challenge progress, I was shocked to realize that I had not added a single one of my owned books. So, I set to work and have just now finished adding the first chunk of my collection.
101 owned books later, it has once again come to my attention that I have a book-buying problem. But it’s so hard to stop!!! I love going to the library and borrowing books, and so does my bank account, but sometimes I just want to read a book that doesn’t have a broken spine, bent pages, finger smudges, or that foreign matter that resembles food crumbs but could just as easily be something all the more gross. No joke, I even found little spatters of blood in a book once. Either a murder went down in the home of the previous borrower or a level 10 paper cut was suffered. But still, come on, blood?! Now even bodily fluids are making it into the pages of library books.
If you are interested in rummaging through my bookshelves of read, currently reading, or TBR books, click here to head over to my GoodReads page. And hey, feel free to follow me, or we can become friends 🙂 🙂 Or share your profile in the comments below so I can check out what your bookshelves look like.
Yay GoodReads! They have widgets for your blog so you can show off your shelves and reading challenges, FYI.
I just finished a library book with… ahem… “material” from someone’s nose every 100 pages or so. It really could only have been that. I feel your pain!
